Allow me to introduce myself...

My name is Clinton Erb. I've been a guitar picker for about half of my life. Not too long ago, I got into a guitar player by the name of Don Rich. Don played very unique Fender Telecasters. Not only did his guitars sound twangy, gusty, and sparkly, they looked sparkly too. In fact Don had several guitars that were finished in various colors of sparkle.

About two years ago I decided that I wanted a guitar similar to Don's. I wanted that great sound and that great look. As it turned out, they were available from Fender by two means. One could either buy one of the copies that the Fender Custom Shop made in the 1990's or just order a custom one from the shop. Either way, it would have cost me several thousand dollars.

For the sake of my wallet, I decided to build one. I did a bunch of research and got all my materials together and proceeded to put together the guitar. After a couple of months and numerous mistakes, it was completed. To my surprise, the guitar was as good as any I've played. I figured that it was just beginners luck and went back to my normal routine of just playing guitar. I started going to jams and I let a couple of my colleagues play the guitar. They asked if I could make them one. So I started building guitars. I finished their guitars and brought it over to them, and they really enjoyed it. One of them suggested I show people on the internet this.

Hence this site. I've garnered a nice little bit of attention around the net and I continue building guitars.
